a horizontal balancing machine, some method of
rotating the part is required. The most common
methods are belt drive and end drive. Belt drive
is generally preferred because it is easier to
use and more accurate than end drive. However,
parts requiring a large amount of power or torque
to rotate, or parts that don't lend themselves
to belt drive for other reasons will require an
end drive.For maximum flexibility, some machines
are equipped with both Belt and End Drives. |
