Compared
to conventional gravitational balancing systems, machines
of the AWW series are an important step ahead. The electromagnetic
compensation system prevents faulty measurement such as those
otherwise necessarily resulting from inclination of the shift
axis. As the technique involved is based on force measurement,
there is no need for time consuming calibration to workpiece
mass and correction diameter
